Art Initiatives | Refugee Crisis - Mediterranean

While still in the early stages of developing an educational project for young girls in refugee camps, I have narrowed it down to one idea. Art. I want my project to be aimed at art education and teaching students to express their stories so that they can teach the world. One art initiative that spoke to me, and that is closely linked to my own idea is an exhibition by well know French photojournalist, Reza, called 'Dreams of Humanity'. Reza hopes that photography will provide a way for refugee children to tell their stories.
